Fukrey`s Chucha will star in Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon`s upcoming movie Arjun Patiala! Do you remember Chucha from both the installations of Fukrey franchise?
Obviously! You do! He was a sheer show stealer in both parts. Varun Sharma as Chucha was the affable weirdo with superpowers to watch bizarre dreams which win him a lottery. In Fukrey Returns, his powers have evolved, but sadly, mentally he hasn`t and he got his pronunciation wrong like Goa as Goya and still can`t get the fact straight that Lali does not love him! He made us laugh like a maniac in the theatre with his witty dialogues and crazy acts. Well! Good news for all the chucha fans out there! He will yet again take you on a crazy quirky laughter ride in Diljit Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon starrer.
Varun Sharma seems to be on a professional high! He will next be seen in the Kriti Sanon-Diljit Dosanjh- starrer `Arjun Patiala`, which is a buddy-cop film. Varun will play a quirky character, Onida Singh. This film will mark Varun Sharma with Kriti Sanon , after Dilwale and Raabta. Confirming the news, Varun tells us, "Onida Singh is a character I grew attached to after Chucha. The film is a situational comedy, and it will be a reunion of sorts for Kriti and me, which will be interesting. I am looking forward to having a lot of fun while filming it. Diljit and I will bond over Punjabi. I have been listening to his songs since my college days. I can`t wait to shoot with him and listen to all the Punjabi songs."
After the debacle called Raabta, producer-director Dinesh Vijan is gearing up for his second directorial, "Arjun Patiala". While his first movie dealt with reincarnation and romance, Vijan is taking a safer route with his second movie as a romantic comedy. Diljith Dosanjh and Kriti Sanon will play the lead in this movie. Kriti was also the heroine of Raabta as well. As per an earlier report, Upcoming movie Arjun Patiala is a rom-com - a humorous love story between a journalist and a small-town guy, and how their height difference plays a crucial factor in complicating things.
We are sure that the audience is waiting for the deadly combination of Onida`s voice and poker-faced conversational comedy which rests totally on Diljit and his shoulders!
